Wrapper background color problem

Hi there,

I'm trying to change the wrapper background color but it doesn't work, for example [wrapper bgcolor="yellow"].

The only thing that works is bgcolor="black" or bgcolor="skincolor"

Is it a bug?  If so, how can it be fixed?  Thanks.

JC

  • Hello,

    The options for the bgcolor are 'white','grey','skincolor' and 'black'. The option will set class and we set different color for all the class. So any other option like YELLOW will not work. If you like to set different color than you can do it by custom CSS style code.

    Here are steps:

    First you need to wrap the shortcode with a custom DIV. Example:
    <div class="custom-yellow-box"> [wrapper bgcolor="yellow"]</div>

    Than add this custom CSS code:
    .custom-yellow-box{
    background: yellow;
    }
    You can add this code in Admin > Appearance > Theme Options > Custom Code > Custrom CSS Code box.

    Please note that you must know HTML/CSS for this.

    Thanks,
    Bob

  • Thank you very much for your reply.  I'm going to try this out and see what happens.  Also, can you please reply to my other discussion regarding the CallToAction?  Thanks again.  :)
  • I've just tried your code and unfortunately it didn't work on the wrapper I need.  Your code works fine with the example below:

    <div class="custom-yellow-box">
    [wrapper bgcolor="yellow"]
    whatever content goes here ...
    [/wrapper]
    </div>

    The problems is that I'm trying to change the color of the wrapper that has the video of a woman typing playing in the background (in the homepage).  I tried everything but it does not work.

    Any ideas?  Thanks a lot.
