Image not fitting in mobile view

edited July 2013 in Colorised Theme
I have an image on this page: http://seattle-food-truck.com/kitchen-hoods/ that stretches out too far in the mobile portrait view. I tried adding a style for it in the @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) and set the image to width: 100% or width: auto but no change. There may be a style elsewhere overriding it. How can I fix this? I need the image to scale down to fit in the mobile view.

Comments

  • Actually the width is applied on wrapper DIV with class "wp-caption aligncenter". The width is applied as inline style.

    So just edit the caption div and remove the width if you can. If not, than please provide me your content code so we can check on our server.

  • There is also another way to do this. We can add style for this image and make it 100% via custom CSS. So we are sure that we can solve this 100%
  • Ok I finally figured it out. I added .wp-caption img { max-width: 100%; }
